We aim to share our knowledge across the UK to raise awareness of occupational lung disease through education and training, so that what we learn can help patients everywhere. We run a variety of workshops and events to support these aims.

We provide one-day courses accredited for 5 CPD points for Occupational Health (OH) professionals with an interest in the use of spirometry in the workplace. All courses are recorded and available for delegates to access after the event. Certificates of attendance are provided on request.
Please note this is not a practical spirometry course and a working knowledge of spirometry is required.

We continue to support specialty trainees in respiratory and occupational medicine by delivering one day regional training days in Occupational Lung Disease. These are usually held on rotation on a three-yearly basis.

We particularly welcome visits from:

- Trainee doctors in allergy, occupational and respiratory medicine
EOPH 2025 Conference "Putting Health back into Health Surveillance" (14 February 2025)
Professor Jo Szram will be speaking at the upcoming EOPH 2025 Conference ‘Putting Health back into Health Surveillance’ on 14 February 2025 in Birmingham. They will be outlining the common contemporary issues in occupational lung disease, focusing on the conditions and presentations that a modern day occupational health practitioner is likely to encounter.
